Who Inspires You?

My very first inspiration was a clip I saw of Donna Kato on the Carol Duvall show.  Now there are so many talented polymer clay artists  out there and I am inspired by them all.  I love to browse the internet and see what new things are being done with polymer clay.

What Inspires You?

I am most inspired by jewelry magazines and trying to incorporate my polymer clay with new jewelry designs.  I also like to go to the fabric store and look at all the colors of fabric and how they work together. I also have gotten as many polymer clay books as possible to learn techniques.

Where do you create?

I have a great space for my studio.  I have a huge laundry/mud room and one whole side is my studio. It has a built in counter space and wall to wall cabinets for all my “must have stuff” and I have a gorgeous view of the mountains out my window, we live in Western Colorado. It is a great space for creation.

How long have you been working with polymer clay?

I have only been working with polymer clay for about 5 years now. I have always love to do crafts, sewing, stenciling, etc. Once I got my hands on polymer clay I was hooked. I am self taught (we live in a pretty remote area and have to depend  on the internet and books) so I still have a lot to learn but I am so glad I have found such an awesome group of people here at PCAGOE!
